day five

so its not exactly needle work, but it was crafty :)

i was inspired by LMFAO's "Yes" video (see link...) and wanted a pair of glasses to wear to saturday night curling (yes i curl, orange county curling link on the left). my friend liz got me these glasses for an early birthday present. they had a silver chain pattern on the top. i removed it and replaced with swarvoski crystals left over from competitive dancing days...

about the beginning.

today in my post-bacculerate academic writing class, my professor assigned us the hair-raising, tension-headache inducing assignment of playing task master, with ourselves. we defined eight roles of our daily lives, set three goals for each, then planned our week out in thirty minute intervals. we turned that in to her. starting the following monday (today, i'm a procrastinator) we have to keep our schedule and keep track of how we spend our day.

one of my goals was to complete needlework (lately knitting and crocheting) for at least an hour every day. in order to keep myself to this promise, i thought i would blog my project advancements everyday.
